YogaLife, Thanks for asking the question for which we all would like definitive answers. The answer is there is no one answer re dyskinesis. We are all different and react to meds differently. See Ron's post about the gut related to PD.

I taught health, DX PD almost 3 years ago, read everything I could find, so now my neurologist and I are a team - learning together. Know that there are lots of studies going on as we speak.
We decided to forgo Sinamet, instead take a light dose of MAOB inhibitor, supplements for neuroprotectection, and exercise exercise exercise. I'm not progressing much to speak of. But we are all different! Know that the important think is to work with a neurologist (or movement disorder specialist) you are comfortable with, and keep researching.
