At the rate things are going in this country... 1/2 of the country will be diabetic in 20 yrs!
Hard to say about the baby... but Mom's chances are higher for type II.
I have diabetes in the family and have been skirting that diagnosis for 2 decades. I am now official at 64... still controlling with diet.. A1C still good, but fasting glucose is not good.
Here is the new fructose video from medical sources. Feeding that baby sugar laced formula and fruit juices all the time, is not a good idea. Take a look at how much sugar is in infant formula!
