Thanks all for your replies, it helps to be able to talk to others who know how difficult this all is.

I'm at a loss as to what to do now. My veins are practically closed just sitting up, my arteries are already showing damage, and I have to wait 6 weeks to see the doc again! It is really hard not to worry, but you are all right, stress makes this all worse. Hopefully I can keep my cool for now.

Sheri, when you say your veins and arteries are compressed in the "side position" what do you mean? Like laying on your left side in bed? I hope your recovery from ankle surgery continues to go well. Who needs other health problems on top of TOS?!

And Billy, If only the nerves are involved then you aren't at risk for blood clots. Clots form in blood vessels, not nerves.
