Another trick for that I like to do is rolling up a bath towel and lay on it positioned lengthwise down your spine while pressing your shoulders back. It really helps to open up that area.
I just caution people who have vascular TOS about doing that type of stretch (the bath towel one). Anything that draws the shoulders back like that, as in a "military position" can close the costo-clavicular space leading to further compression of the arteries and/or veins.
