FASTING BLOOD SUGARS ARE NOT THE GOLD STANDARD...
a friend of mine recently had blood work done....preop.....fasting 104, Ha1c 5.9 which is now considered elevated.....please, get a GTT test, or AT LEAST, do post prandial testing .....good luck
