Taking a multi is up to you. If you don't eat veggies, I'd take one.
Depending on your age, you may need some minerals too...
and the senior vitamins have those.
Avoid mixtures with iron. (unless your doctor says to take iron).
Choose a men's formula, as iron is often not in them.
