Sweating with eating can be diabetes related. It is called gustatory sweating.

With undiagnosed diabetes, or even when you have pre-diabetic times (called impaired glucose tolerance), you can develop gastroparesis...which is a nerve degeneration affecting swallowing and the stomach.
