I have trigeminal neuralgia(TN), occipital neuralgia, and some form of neuropathy. While looking for a link between them, I came across Sjogren's and the description I read indicates that multiple nerve problems are associated with it. I would definately call your neurologist and run it by him where the dentist has ruled out any other cause. Luckily, you didn't end up in the hands of a hack dentist who did needless dental procedures on you. I've spent a lot of money and undergone a lot of them when the culprit was most likely the early stages of TN. On the flip side, I'm sorry that you're experiencing the pain of TN. Like other neuropathic pain conditions, it responds best to anticonvulsant and antidepressant medications. There is a separate forum on this board that you might want to check out. EE
