When you go to the dr. make sure you have a list of questions posted and leave room for you to write down the answers. DO not hesitate to ask him to repeat his answer and for you re repeat what you wrote down to make sure you have all of your information. I found on line a list of questions to ask a surgeon when interpreting test results, asking about different pain managements techniques and information about a surgeon and surgery.
