The last 6 or so years I have had a slow progression into the area of tremors, trembling, balance problems and falling.
I have seen 3 different Neurologists and had MRI and other tests. No definite results forthcoming. Except prescriptions for heavy duty medication which pretty well immobilized me.
My family doctor and I are working slowly trying different things to see what might work.
Currently I am on 1200 mg. Gabapenton and 1 mg. Clonazepam spread over the day.
I sleep well, but a short while after wakening I start to slowly get the various things happening. It seems the slightest movement I make starts it off and the rest of my day is the same as the others.
Most of my tremors and trembling takes place in upper body, especially my chest, arms, hands .
Typing this message is extremely difficult to do as my fingers fly all over the keyboard.
By midday my mood is pretty low and I can't seem to concentrate on anything.

If anyone can relate to this I wish you would let me know.
I would truly appreciate any observations or advice.
David

Hi David - did they check to see if you have a chiari malformation? I just found out I had one not long ago and had surgery for it. Seems to be successful. All the neurologist has to look at is a cervical spine MRI.
