This shows the size of the nest compared to a common US penny.

When we see this nest so up close it is easy to forget how tiny these nests are and hence how tiny the chicks are!
The owner says the chicks are one inch long.

The eggs were the size of a JellyBelly small Jelly bean or just a bit larger than a TicTac candy.

I recall a cam last year which showed the nest to be about the size of a walnut!
