Dig into your memory...
What was your first paying job? I'm sure many of you were baby-sitters.
When I was 14 I started my own car wash/wax/detailing company "Classi Chassi Auto Detailing". I started doing my cul-de-sac and grew it to having my best friend and I washing about 20 cars a weekend then at 17 I got a small local dealership to let us do their cars on weekends, we ended up "hiring" 2 other people to help.
I ALSO had a part-time job working as a bag-boy at Safeway (grocery) for about 10 hours a week.
Classi Chassi paid for my first car, I paid for 1/2 and my dad paid for 1/2. It was a 1972 VW Bug, That was in 1985. I LOVED that car. It was yellow and I put a Blaupunkt Stereo and big woofers in it. along with an alarm. It cost $1,400. I kept it for 3 years before it died a death of engine explosion.
That leads to a second questin.... What was your first car/truck/vehicle?
Can you tell I am cruising down memory lane? Man I miss my childhood. I wish it was 1986 all over again.
