I dunno why, but I've learned to buy 2 or 3 pairs at a time (especially if they're on sale) a pair of NB's for work will last me about a year. So I buy a pair in Black for work, brown work/play and/or tan/white-summer play.
I have been born with flat feet-no arch at all. So I remove the arch supports & inserts cause they feel like I'm walking with a rock in my shoe. I replace with gel innersoles and foam cushion inserts. But NBs seem to have the toe room and xtra width I need. I've mentioned that Dr. Scholl's havea similar one, too.
