Mari...DH and I did WW in the past w/ success. I personally always on my own lowered my carbs (esp. sugar) while on the program. I DID notice that I HAD to do this in order for that scale to go down. I particularly appreciate the way WW provides very good emotional support and of course the accountability. I understand the new program is particularly good (with reference to the food, etc.) My thought is that you can tweek it as you wish...and make it unique to yourself .... providing even better results. These days, I believe my food sensitivities are rather extreme...so I'm eliminating certain foods. Wishing you the VERY best.
Sooooo excited to hear that the paleo diet might help w/ BP illness....as you know there is a certain special someone in my life that is always on my mind.
However, it will be HARD for me to convince her to eat in such a manner.
She REALLY loves her carbs...in fact...overeats them zealously.
