So very sorry you're going through such a difficult time.
I can only suggest talking to a professional. I have this "chatter" going on in my head a lot and I also deal with anxiety as well as other health issues. Sometimes this "chatter" gets very difficult to deal with.
I promised myself last year that I was going to try CBT. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy... try to change some of my old patterns and the way I think and react. I didn't do it last year. I keep thinking it's a little late, and I wish it had been around when I was younger.
I think it's really worth looking into if you have such anxiety, and/or the "chatter" or have intrusive thoughts. Not good.
