Raised a few 'Labs' in my time. Intelligent, but stubborn, single minded- and can act as if you are stupid when giving them commands, if they don't want to listen.
Also are big 'chewers' when puppies.
I remember coming home to a 'winter wonderland'
in my family room when 2- 5 mo old lab pups decided
to tear apart a foam futon and 2 feather pillows.
They must've had a ball, and were so excited to see me when
I opened the door.
