I've been taking the vicoden since my thymectomy Aug of 09. I don't think it's making anything worse (unless it's damaging my liver, and causing my immune system to flare?)...I did worry when I was first prescribed it, but I didn't have any reaction, and since I've been taking it for so long, I don't have any of the normal side effects that it causes, just pain relief.
