I hate to say this, but since I've been using my scooter all the time, I've noticed less pain in my hips and legs.

I do lots of stretching and stand in place exercises to keep my bones and muscles strong, but no real walking. My walking was so iratic and messed up that it was throwing everything out of whack so, I had a lot of pain, in muscles and joints/bones.

My scooter is a perfect fit for me and supports the small of my back and I exercise and stretch the small of my back, so I have, almost, eliminated those muscle pains/spasms.

Maybe if you use your scooter/walker/chair more often and not push yourself to walk when your fatigue is high, you may save yourself some pain and fatigue.
