I have many amalgam fillings in my pie hole. I brought it up to the dentist who said "MS was around long before mercury fillings, so that cant be the trigger!" I argued that perhaps its the reason for the rise in so many NEW MS cases, and he said that a properly filled tooth doesnt leak, and isnt of danger, and if its leaking, it needs to be replaced with or without MS sx. I found a new dentist.

My current guy said he doesnt want to remove ANY old fillings till they become an issue, and then he will replace them with composite stuff. He thinks just as much danger is to be had from ripping into old mercury stuff and it can create issues. One by one mercury fillings will fail, and he said we can take each one as they come and replace them. He checked them all and said none were leaky or in bad shape for now.

Im not sure I would have the courage to have a mouth full removed without major anesthesia. I hate the dentist but have worked very hard to keep my teeth.
