I also had the neck/shoulder tightness, jaw tightness, and it made me a little high strung and wired. He told me to drop my dose down to 10 mg and I did much better. It takes about 4 weeks for many ADs to kick and depending on you and your body 2 to 4 weeks for the side effects to ease up. However, I have to mention, I took Cymbalta for three days. It was my 1st experience ever with an AD of any kind. I am not an aggressive type person at all and started to have aggressive thoughts. No more of that crap for me. I called the dr. and told him I was not taking it anymore. If any of the more serious side effects start to happen, such as what I experienced, call your dr. right away.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I am with Sally . . .I have never heard of a med causing a flare but who knows.
