Exclamation To Annie59 about green tea

Annie59,

I read your comments in Shaylnn's post about green tea. Green tea does not "counteract" caffeine. Most green tea has caffeine in it. The other thing that green tea does is to act like a diuretic. That is NOT something you want due to your Sjogrens.

Before you take ANYTHING, you have to check with a doctor first. Advice here is great but we are not doctors. Foods, supplements, drinks and anything else you put in your mouth can have side effects. Do not blindly pop a new supplement into your mouth without thorough research and discussing it with your doctor.

Celery, by the way, also has diuretic properties.

Caffeine may be useful for some people with MG but not in your situation. I hope this information helps.

Annie
