Default multiple syndromes/illnesses

It seems like quite a few TOSers have other illnesses or medical problems as well. I just found out that I have May-Thurner Syndrome (which I've heard called TOS of the lower body!) where one of the large pelvic veins is compressed behind an artery. I'm just gutted. Not only do I have to deal with bilateral TOS of all three types, but now this as well! I am at my wit's end and am wondering how those of you who deal with multiple problems handle it without getting totally overwhelmed.

I'm also now more confused than ever about getting the TOS surgery. Being laid up on the operating table and in bed afterwards will definitely be risky for me. I just don't know which problem needs the most immediate attention.
