Depending on the extent of the compression, it may be weeks/months before you know the full extent of recovered functioon--angry nerves heal more slowly than just about anything else. Moreover, one can't really know the extent of recovery of function unitl the inflammation from the sugery itself recedes (never mind what what there before the surgery).

I would keep a diary (with daily entries, or even more often if you feel up to it) of your impressions, sensations, etc. through this period, so you have comparison and retrospect points--you also won't have to rely on memory for follow-up appointment reporting.

Hope your recovery goes as speedily as possible.
Very good idea. I will b patient and I will keep a diary and keep u posted on my progress. The surgeon said the nerve was angry and red so it stands to reason that it needs to settle down as u said. Thank u
