I've dodged the knife so far, Lee, so I don't know the answer to this. Do they inform patients of the possible complication of arachnoiditis? (No - it's not an inflamed spider bite...) As I understand it from other spinal veterans (subject to correction), each invasive procedure (surgery) increases the likelihood of developing arachnoiditis.
