If it's the cost he's concerned about, and you have nice thrift stores nearby, check out those places.
The Goodwill Superstores around here usually has nice looking items like that at times.

Maybe you can convince him on the safety aspect - especially if you might fall... more for safety & balance .. due to the new leg weakness issues...


I just looked at walkers & rollators on the local area craigslist - 15 & up for various styles -plain Jane to fancy
