Fluids and dilaudid. I can't take any anti-emetic. They are all either serotonergic (Zofran) or antidopaminergic such as Reglan. When the pain stops the puking stops.
For autonomic storms they recommend the morphine compounds and beta blockade....my pulse goes so low from the morphine that they don't do the beta blockade.
It is misery trying to explain this condition every time I go in....I don't always go in lest I be labelled a 'frequent flyer'....half the time I gut them out at home right now....really, I should go in.
