I've been dealing with PN for about 3-1/2 years, and I still backslide into steps 3 & 4, although I like to think that I'm working through 5 & 6 most of the time.

Living in the here and now...that's good advice. But I also don't give up on the hope that someday my pain might become less intense or that modern medicine might come up with an answer.
