Some people smuge once a month as a kind of house cleaning / maintenance.
I do it when I bring something new into the house like a purse, a book back, or set of ear rings. . . . . also if I do a big cleaning and move stuff around that changes the energy of the house.

In hubby's county of origin, some women burn acrid seeds to keep away bad luck. He knows a woman who burns some seeds whenever "unlucky" people come to her house.

My Italian hair dresser told me his mother burns something for the same reason but he did not tell me what it was called.


Yes, I have little angels to hang over each door way. Right now they are in a little box waiting for someone to put up.
