Tom,
It sounds to me like you have a good case of PCS plus some possible trauma to your upper neck. If you get inflammation in the upper neck area, it can cause some autonomic nervous system malfunctions. I had the sweats problem about like you until I had some neck and upper shoulder to neck work done. The muscles spasms had it all messed up. I had bouts of sweats, extreme swings in blood pressure, both high and low, etc.
To this day, I need to be careful about how I position my head and neck when I sleep. I need my head and neck to be straight and propped up by a pillow so my head does not roll to the side. I sleep on my back only.
I suggest you be careful with your sitting and sleeping posture. A good chiropractor with massage and possibly a good Physical Therapist may help.
