Funny you should bring this question up. I'm going through something similar. I have different symptoms and a different diagnosis, but (now I'm not a doctor nor do I play one on t.v.) I really think a great deal hinges on just exactly what your issues are. Morphine for me has been less than effective as well and I'm eager to get back to my doctor on the 7th to see what we can do. I do know that morphine is for pain, and if you have any kind of nerve issue then it really won't help much. There may be other problems that morphine, as a pain killer, simply won't help. If I'm able to find out anything further I'll let you know. In the interim, don't hesitate to contact your doctor if something isn't working...because there's probably a good reason why it isn't!
