Jeffrey,
You need to slow down. I know what it is like to cause problems washing my hair. Try to be more deliberate with your movements. Ibu will not dull your brain. PCS will also not influence a root canal. If fact, root canals can lease toxins in the blood stream that can be problematic.
There is a serious need for PCS subjects to develop slower and more deliberate movements and behaviors. I went through this same struggle many years ago. You don't need to get paranoid about movement, just a little slower to act/move.
For example, I would come in from cleaning up after my two dogs feeling miserable. The back and forth head movement scanning the lawn for deposits was just too much for my brain. I learned to rotate at the shoulders. This slowed the rate of movement of my head and greatly decreased my struggles. I also know to be slower as I bend over to load or unload the dishwasher. I try to use turning my eyes rather than my head if possible.
I still snow ski occasionally. I need to ski with a shoulders forward, hunched or rolled back/spine posture to absorb the bumps. The same goes for jogging.
This may sound odd or extreme but it works for me. I hope it works for others.
My best to you.
