JNR,

Sounds like you have undergone quite an ordeal and trauma. You have two causes to consider. Anesthesia, especially repeated and for the time frame needed to spinal surgery, can be quite problematic and cause similar symptoms to PCS. You are very likely suffering from both.

You sound female. Have you had a good hormone assessment? Womens International Pharmacy has a referral link at http://www.womensinternational.com/r..._referral.html that will help you find a good specialist.

Generic doctors tend to use a broader standard than many need. Age has little to do with hormonal changes when mTBI is involved.

You might want to research detoxifying from anesthesia.

I know that I have struggled more after breaking my leg requiring surgery. Some people are more sensitive to the anesthesia that others.
