When you mentioned that your feet became red in the summer it makes me think that you do not have neuropathy, but rather have Erythromelalgia. Erythromelalgia is often treated with Asprin. People with Erythromelalgia sometimes get great relief with high doses of Asprin. Its a rare disease often misdiagnosed as something else....I know because I have it.
