Hello!
I've been using this for about a year. A medication I took for awhile caused rapid tooth decay and it freaked me out, as I had never had any dental issues prior. I had to have 2 teeth pulled and another was caught in time to get a filling.
I wanted to know the 'best/strongest' protecting toothpaste I could get my hands on.....and my dentist wrote a prescription for PreviDent 1.1% sodium fluoride. Super.
I just recently became privy to the fact that fluoride is actually very
BAD for us!
The directions on this prescription says to brush for 1 minute and
NOT to rinse.
Is this 'BAD' ??
The 'fine' print reads......"Description: Self-topical neutral fluoride 1.1% sodium fluoride for use as a dental caries (?) in adults. This is not a dentifrice."....
My main Q is this: What does fluoride do to us that is 'bad' ?
I know I could google this question, but I'd rather hear it from you.....

because every time I get on google and start looking stuff up, I end up convinced I have 101 terminal diseases.....
Thank you much!
Rae
