p r o f o u n d.... we do carry others transgressions

i've heard of animals taking on the karma of their owners into their own bodies.... but i am confused ,because doesn't pain just create more pain-i'm really relating to the contextual shift theory...what one focuses on increases...especially where pain is concerned...maybe its the transforming of the pain that is our task?
