Lightbulb

When very severe I use a full packet which contains two effervescent tablets, at bedtime.

But in the past I have used one tablet, and carefully folding the foil packet up over the remaining one, daily.

As I said before I never used it EVERY day, but in bursts of
3-7 days during flares. I don't want to use aspirin every day, with the risk of cerebral microbleeds that hit the news a couple of years ago, regarding daily aspirin regimens.

With the AlkaSeltzer form I have no GI side effects at all. I think the AlkaSeltzer blasts your metabolism that causes the burning in the feet. Mine always seems to stop for a while with it. I buy mine generically at WalMart.... it is so inexpensive that way, you wouldn't believe.
