As Mz Migraine just said and I was talking about earlier, it's very important that his medical records say that.....and say that he MUST do that every few hours. Then it is up to SSA (or the voc rehab specialist at an ALJ hearing) to find work that he can do with that restriction.....which is no job that I know of.
If his records don't address that....or simply say he mist elevate his leg periodically, SSA will believe that he can just use a footstool.
