I have not myself, but they did my blood work + LP the same day by consequence (I had put off the blood work - in denial - no I was scared actually). They found the O-bands clear as mud in my spinal fluid.
I have heard the bands may not be present out of a flare/inflammatory period, though I don't know if there's truth to that. The way my neurologist explained them, he made O-bands sound like age rings in a tree section.
