Any one try to take an akarn pill box or an 'active' cell phone on a plane?

Noticed ET location on last entry. i am just over the mts--did PR for U-T way back when. (Daily hear radio ad for inn that says it is in the Tenn. Smoky mts; in my day it would have been ET Smoky mts.) Have they given up on 'the 3 states of Tennessee?--where my folks moved along side the French Broad in 1791.)
