I was at DPF's Victory day conference in san diego last month. It was one of the best one-day conferences I attended in a long time. Very informative, excellent speakers, good topics and extremely patient oriented. I came back feeling good about my ability to do things I can still do rather than focusing on what I cannot do anymore. I for sure, need that kind of positive thinking these daays!
Dave Phinney was there among the patients and talking and answering questions about DBS. I was talking with a very nice woman (who said her husband has PD) for a long time only to find out later in the day that is Mrs. Phinney! I raved about them and the foundation to all my friends. Check out their website and attend their one-day conference if you can. I am pretty sure it is free for participants, atleast the San diego conference was free for PwPs.
Thanks Peggy for your introduction.
