Everyone is so different but for me (24/7 in a chair - not horrible pain but can't turn easily and tends to sleep in one position and parts can start hurting).
1. have purchased sheepskin for wheelchair seat and love it.
2. Have satin fitted sheet on bed so can slid easier, turn easier, etc. Was sticking from weight of glutinous maximus (and I'm not really heavy) in cotton panties sticking to cotton sheets like velcro. Turn easier.
3. have purchased for bed a 2-inch memory foam topper for firm mattress we have. Great! Relieves pressure points but is still firm 2 inches down. DH (No MS) who has back problems in past loves it. It has been wonderful in colder weather, but have read people complaining can be too warm in Spring and summer. We'll see.
