I have a great update for you all. The mestinon had been controlling my blood pressure spikes and tachycardia since September since I made the connection...well, there is a new development. It turns out that this all started when they put me on prednisone and started me on omeprazole In May of last year. I heard that omeprazole and other PPI's can sometimes cause cardio symptoms. I went off it. In the last 2 weeks, I went off mestinon too (yes, my neuro is involved) and I have no cardio symptoms!! So I am great AND I am off two more medications.

Be on the lookout for odd side effects of medications. You just may be a person experiencing symptoms 'outside the box'....debra
