Warm legs at night, anyone, Buehler?
So I am dying to find other people who have this same odd symptom and hear what their dr's have said about it.
At night primarily, my legs start feeling very warm. Not hot to the touch, and not burning. More like from my knee down, its 120 degrees and 100% humidity in the room. You know, like those hot summer days when you just can't get comfortable at all?
I move them on the sheets and they feel cooler for about 10 seconds, then feel warm again. I end up feeling very agitated and moving them around a lot. I also do feel like I need to move them (similar to what some people with RLS describe). I can't fall asleep with this and it will tend to subside at around 2:30 - 3:00am.
The warmness thing also comes along with frequent trips to the restroom often.
I am taking gabapentin which does seem to help. I do have some other PN symptoms such as a slight tremor in my thumb, paresthesias (buzzing in my feet), zaps and stabbing pains (tollerable, thankfully), jolts (rare), and my legs itch like crazy at night.
Anyone else identify with this warm legs deal?
