Here is my story.I am 42 years old. I was diagnosed with young onset Parkinsons when I was 35.
With Parkinsons came a dystonia in my let foot,which caused my leftfoot too turn in. When I went to the Neurologist in Toronto he prescribed me Mirapex.They told me there could be some side effects from the drug.They said dry mouth, sleepy and maybe headaches. I have been taking the drug for about 2 yrs. It has been hell for about the last 6 months.

Ican actually feel the compulsivness in me. In the past I have had no interest in gambling. one day my mother in law asked me to go to the Casino so i went. It was so weird,It was like I had no control what so ever. Money ment nothing to me there. In the past I was always cheap with money. I dropped my mother in law off at home and went back for seven hours.

i was driving hame thinking this is scary. I would keep going back on and off until it was every other day. I would wake up at 2am and sneak to the casino. When I got home I called the bank and had them lower my limit. I was also having sleep attacks during the day. I called my doctor and told him that I was comming off this poison.
I am doing ok now. It cost me 5000 dollars because of this drug. I am very mad. Its like going to the washroom, you can only hold it for so long an then you have to go. Mirapex is the same way, you can hold it for so long and then you have to gamble. So i urge you if you are on this drug it will eventually get you when your least expecting it.
