Dr. Clauw's didn't mention "tender points" only trigger points in his lecture on Fibro.

His lecture was geared to the doctors in the audience.
I think it will take alot of time, to turn around the fibro diagnosis.
Many fibro patients still take opiates, and he also said that opiated don't work well for fibro either.

@Razzle--- your symptoms seem more like a neuropathy to me.
Fibro is often labeled when doctors don't understand the pain situation the patient is describing. I think this label is often misapplied.
