Do not know yet whether the new format tablets will become the global norm.

Was somewhat dismayed to read that the tablets are not scored and it is not recommended to split them. Also no half sinemet (50/12.5) available. I have taken 1.5 regular sinemet TID for some time, and it works for me. For those on a similar regime in the US I wonder how this affects both prescribers and patients...... It would be good if there was clarity over whether the formulation has changed so that it is no longer practical to spit tablets.I cannot see why they have done this..........
