Methadone is a wonderful pain reliever for RSD. Many swear by it. By just adding a very small dose I was able to reduce the nerve pain that had shimmering in the back of my head from occipital neuralgia. Without it I think I would have lost my mind....Don't be ashamed. There are a number of old timers on this board that have been using it for many years. I only needed 5mg twice a day. The best of luck to you...

I had been taking between 5 and 6 Vicodin 7.5 Mg, but since the Methadone has been introduced, I am taking only 2 tablets right now. Right now, I believe the Methadone is only 5Mg 12 hours apart, but after a week will go up to 5 Mg every 8 hours.

I am scared and ashamed of the Methadone, but it seems to be working. I feel sick to my stomach, but I was told this would pass. I hope this works.
