I was 19 at the time and I wanted to see what it felt like to do something impulsive for once. I was always one of those responsible kids that got good grades and didn't curse or smoke or anything.
But also I didn't realize at the time that I had horrible social anxiety....and no matter what situation I was in, I couldn't make myself communicate or have fun being around people. So I guess I just lost it for once.
