If this has started since the surgery then it's likely to be somehow connected to that; it sounds alarming, I'd get a second opinion if I were you - if you're only seeing the doctors who performed the surgery, they might be less than keen to link it with the surgery. But it sounds like you need some kind of diagnosis and treatment right away.

I *haven't* heard of RSD without pain, BTW. Go get another doctor's opinion soon as you can,
