iggle,

A chiropractor can help with the neck injuries that accompany a concussion. An Upper Cervical Chiropractor is a specialist in the C-1 Atlas to Cranium (skull) joint. Most chiros are not as well trained for the Atlas joint.

Many times, head aches are due to injuries to the upper neck. Also, inflammation in the upper neck can cause PCS like symptoms.

Keep in mind that there is a wild range of skills in the chiropractic profession. If one is not helping, it is sometimes worth trying another.

In my experience, one in 10 is a gifted physician. The rest are just fixing the easy problems and selling Wellness Therapy. Avoid any chiro who wants to schedule you out for more than two or maybe three weeks. Some are just after your money or insurance payments.
